The title of this post has a hidden meaning here– you might see little candies floating around in these pictures. Smarties seemed to be the only way to get little sis in the photo! Oh and Jen and I decided to go ahead and post all of the peeks here for you so nobody had to go back and forth between the blogs.
On a personal note– these two little girls remind me so much of my own daughters about 6 years ago– full of energy, wonder, and exploration! What does that mean exactly and why is it relevant to this blog post? In the moment, every photo attempt with the two of my girls together seemed to fall short of my goal. I never got a photo of them where they were both sitting pretty giving nice smiles together looking at the camera– forget the other stuff. But what does it mean now? A whole lot of laughs and memories when I look back at these photos. I love that in our family beach photo in 2004– Ashley was pouting having just recovered from a major tantrum. Anyway, the point I’m trying to make is that the perfect photo lies in eye of the beholder! Enjoy every moment of childhood– all those moments have a little perfect in them!
