Brothers! | Meadowlark Botanical Gardens Child Photographer

With the last post title Sisters… I couldn’t resist the simple title of this one. Though a thunderstorm was brewing before and after we did our session, the weather was PERFECT!

Radio Flyer Love | Leesburg Virginia Child Photographer

I haven’t met a little one that didn’t love my red tricycle. It has been through my friend’s children, my son, and many children I have photographed along the way. I’ve often wondered if it comes in pink! Anyway, for this little guy– I should have hidden it until the middle of the session because once he spotted it, there was no leaving it behind. When we hid it, he tried to ride my stool, but it just didn’t move the same way! This was just a quick session to capture the curls before the haircut– can’t wait to see him next week! More soon!

10 day old Mr. E | Fairfax Virginia Newborn Photographer

I find an inner chuckle (that’s CHUCKLE and not Chuckie– I’m not sick) every time I do “the second child” newborn session. For most of these, I’ve done the first baby’s newborn session… and despite how stressful mom and dad may feel the first time around… by the second time around, the memory of that first baby session is peaceful harp music and floating clouds. Don’t get me wrong, I love the change in dynamic, but I’m not going to lie, a newborn session with a 2-3 year old sibling is not a relaxing day for anyone, especially parents. In the end, the images and memories of those first few days are worth it all… and by the time #3 arrives… LOL!
